A quick post to share a  'Thank you' card made today. It is based on a sketch from Sketchbook Saturday Challenge. The flower is handmade and the lace border is embossed in gold color .

Hi everyone!

Made this card inspired by the sketch from CARDS Blog Challenge(Create Blog) and colors from The Play Date Cafe Challenge# 185.

Also, for Lessology (Feel The Bead Challenge), it was required to use beads and at least ONE upcycled item in your project. For this, I used  glitter embossed paper which was a left over scrap from  this  previous card and I also glued beads around the sentiment.

Outdoor fun!

Hello everyone!

I’ve got an outdoor theme card to share with you today. The image and the sentiment both are from  Taylored Expression's 'From my Window' Stamp Set. I have colored the image, the cloud background and the edges of the sand  with distress inks. The sand is made by layering torn papers to add texture and dimension to my card  :)

Moxie Fab Tag!

Hi friends!

Here is another tag I made for The Gift Tag Challenge at The Moxie Fab World. The flower is a silhouette cut file colored with copic (RV0000). The pp are all left overs from my previous cards (tags really are a great way to use up your scraps ;) . I stamped and embossed the pp with clear embossing powder. The tiny beads that you see at the edge were individually glued to the tag and I  feel they have added elegance to my tag  :)  To top it all I tied a matching ribbon .

Gift Tag!

Hi Friends,

Today I'm sharing a gift tag which is created for Moxie Fab Challenges- The Gift Tag Challenge. I wanted to use black and white plus one color so when  I saw the inspirational picture at Beyond Grey Challenges (Black white and Maroon), I decided to use the same color combination.

And here is what I came up with  :)

The background is stamped, heat embossed and colored with distress ink. The frame, swirls and sentiment tag are die cuts. The butterflies are first stamped, colored and then  cut.

For my contribution, I made this Journal in monochromatic blue theme as the DTs were challenged to choose one pastel color and I chose 'BLUE' :)

The front page is stamped, embossed and inked with distress inks .

Here is the second page with a Die cut photo frame to insert photo!

The Third page with a pocket to keep mini tags and a clip to hold small papers!

Another pocket with pages to keep momories!

This page has a felt pocket to keep papers and hold pins!

All the flowers and tags were cut with silhouette cameo and were then colored with different shades of blue. I have used ribbons, diecuts , twine and laces to embellish this project. I loved making this Journal and it was really a challenge for me to make it in 'ONE' color :)

Yummy Cupcake!

Hello Friends!

 

Sharing this yummy cupcake card with you :) This card is an inspiration from the delicious photo provided by Catchy Challenges and is combined with the Sketch offered by Beyond Grey Challenges.

The Cupcake is a silhouette cut file by Bird's Card. I have scored the cupcake with scoring board and the frosting is done by heat embossing with the glitter embossing powder. The cupcake and the circle scallop are distressed with distress ink to acheive the yummy chocolate color :) Finally I have embellished my card with the background paper, lace and the sentiment. Bon appetit!!

Sea Shells !

Hello Friends,

I have been making cards for sometime now. Recently I have also been experimenting with clay based projects. So after experimenting with a few things I decided to make a fridge magnet. Today I am sharing with you a recently made fridge magnet. It is inspired by the beautiful beaches and coastline of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The shells used were collected by my daughters :)

The project is mainly made with clay. First the shells are colored with acrylic paint and then pressed on wet clay. Post drying,  I glued sand underneath the shells and colored the sea with blue acrylic color. The writing is computer generated which is glued and then sealed by brushing the white glue over the top of  the paper.  To seal and protect I sprayed the 'Clear Coat Glaze' over the entire structure. Finally, I glued a magnet at the back of  it... and my fridge magnet is ready:))

For my contribution, I decided to make a Heart gift bag instead of a card.

Front view:

 The bag is cut with cameo,  the handle is embellished with butterflies and tiny beads by applying glue ( which was a bit difficult than I thought  :))

The heart embellishment is hand drawn, cut and then glittered with glitter powder, the sentiment is also glittered. The background  and the rosette are made of same paper but I have distressed the background under the heart die-cut to give the rosette a more prominent look !

My Purple Centre Step!

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a centre step  card with you . Its a girly  card so I have used this pretty image  from Sassy Studio Designs and colored it with my favourite color combo (pink, purple and lime).  All the beautiful roses are handmade :)  The leaves are die cuts and the edges are punched. Finally the card is embellished with rhinestones,  ribbons and a lace.

Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone,

Today I'm showing you a 3D card  that I made for The Snowy Christmas. This card stands on its own and can also be layed down flat to put in an envelope. I have colored 'Frosty the Snowman' image from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Stamp with copics and have used Glitter powder on many places to give snow effect. I think it looks beautiful. Hope you like it too :)

First Easel Card!

Hi everyone.

This is my first Easel Card. I have tried Distress ink in it . The background was embossed (black) on a white paper. Then with blending tool, it was inked with Rusty Hinge and Crushed Olive to get both these colors and I'm happy with the results. The Flower is a die cut. I have also used bling, gold ribbon and lace in it. The butterfly punch is also inked with Distress ink. Hope you like it !

Make It Girly!

Hi everyone.

Made this girly card with lots of die cuts, pearls, swirls and textures. I used my favorite image from Elisabeth Bell's Digital stamp and colored it with copics. The Die cuts are from Silhouette Cameo (the flower border is designed by me :)) I also tried some Paper Pleating here and after stamping the sentiment, finished my card with some flowers and a Tulle bow.
