Here is my card for this week

   I colored this 'Beautiful Bow' from Robyn's Fetish. I have colored her up with copic markers . 

I have also used patterned paper and some die cuts covered in glitter to embellish my card.

Anything But Cute - Featured Artist!

Hello friends!

I am extremely delighted to be invited as a guest 'Featured Artist' at "Anything But Cute" and I would like to say a big THANKS to Pamellia and her Team for the invitation. 

I love this month’s chosen theme, ‘An Autumn Day’. The beautiful autumn colors are here to  give us inspiration to create lovely projects. I really get inspired by these colors and have taken this as an inspiration for my reverse canvas project.

 

I started with reverse side of a plain white canvas, covering the edges of the canvas by cork ribbon for a wooden look. I then added texture paste through a Dina Wakley ‘Jungle’ stencil to create a forest background look.

 Next,  I measured the inside dimension of my canvas and trimmed a patterned paper to be pasted inside. I also applied a thin layer of gesso, added additional texture paste and glued "Holiday Green" die cut from sizzex, inked with distress inks.  

 

I have also glued some fabric leaves after inking and spraying them with different shades of orange and red for that autumn look. 

The bottom part is covered with heavyweight cardstock, after stamping and inking and then applying crackle paste to it. Some more texture paste here and there and then glued my patterned paper inside.

As I wanted to create an autumn scene, I cut out silhouettes of a couple with my cameo, painted it with black gesso.

     

Finally embellished my canvas by adding micro beads, pearls, jute ribbon, butterfly resin icon and placed the couple in the front.

I hope my autumn look day will be a 'A memory that lasts forever'!!!

Today I have another Guest Designer post for you all and it is for TTCRD blog.

For this post I have created a card and have colored the beautiful image from A Day For Daisies called 'Tiny Fashionable Present' with Copic markers  The background is done by layering different papers. The purple and silver papers are both heat embossed with embossing powder to give my card a rich look.  Finally, I have embellished this card with ribbons, stamens and handmade flowers.

Guest Designer for ADFD - OCT Challenge!

Hello Friends! 

Here is my fourth and last post as a Guest Designer for 'A Day For Daisies' Blog

with a brand new Challenge for October:

 ANYTHING HALLOWEEN~y GOES! 

For my inspiration, I chose to use 'Witch's Brew' image and  I loved coloring it up with my copic markers.The black edges are done with distress inks.

I have used graphic 45 patterned papers for layering and have added a little tag with ribbons in halloween colors behind the scene. The tiny bats are diecuts covered with glitter stickles.

Guest Designing for Pretty Paper Studio!

Hello Friends

Sharing today a project  I made for my Guest Post at  Pretty Paper Studio, a Dubai based online store.

Thanks PPS for having me as the GD for this month and also providing such a lovely kit comprising of Graphic45 'Enchanted Forest' paper collection along with die cuts, stamps etc. The whole collection of the kit was so gorgeous that it deserved to be crafted into a 'mini album'

I made this album from scratch using chipboard for the cover and cardstock for the pages. The whole album contains space for journaling, photo mats, inserts, tags and my favorite hidden pockets. The flowers on the cover are handmade.

Here are the inside pages:

The album measures 7 x 5.5 x 3.75 inch and I thoroughly enjoyed making every part of it.
