Tales of Us!

Hello everyone!

For my last post this year, I would like to share this chic mixed media card that I made today. I created this card for the 'More than Words' mini challenge where the theme is to include the word 'us' on your project.  

For this card, I have used white gesso, sprays, pastes, prima art stones, micro beads and lace to create various textures and layers. I kept the colors soft with a hint of gold shimmer and shine.

Magical!

Hello friends! Today I have this magical card to share with you . Its a shaker card with lots of colorful sequins.

The background is made using distress inks and I really enjoyed making it. The adorable pegasi are from Mama Elephant which I have stamped and die-cut. This is truly a versatile stamp set and I will be using it in many future birthday cards.

The pegasi and the castle are colored using copic markers and I used a white gel pen for a magical effect. Lastly, I decided to embellish the card with a few sequins on the background.

Hello friends!  Hope you are doing well. Today I have a nautical themed card to show you all. I made this card for someone going on a voyage by sea.

I made the life ring by stacking several circle die cuts and tied them together using twine.

For the shaker part I stamped a ship and added micro beads inside.

The patterned papers are from prima marketing which I have layered on  kraft papers after distressing and adding glitter on the edges.

I loved coloring this beautiful image 'Snow Winter' from Ike's Art and and I think its perfect for a wintry scene.

The card is colored with copic markers and I used white gel pen for highlights and the snowy look.
