Shaker card(s)

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing another shaker card I made using this file from cameo.

To make this card, I first cut the front white sentiment in my cameo. Next I cut a piece of acetate and glued it inside using glossy accents. Then, I put thin strips of foam tape along the edge of the white piece to make it a window.  Finally, I spread red sequence on the base of my cardstock and covered it with this white window.

I love how my card turned out and made one for Dad too :)

Hello everyone! I'm back today with another project that I made keeping in mind a few challenges.

This is a set of 5 tags that I have layered by inserting one tag onto another.

I wanted to keep this soft and elegant so I started by applying gesso on some places and then added textures paste and modeling paste using different stencils.

Guest Designing at Deep Ocean Challenge Blog!

Hello friends! Today I am Guest Designing at the Deep Ocean Challenge Blog and I am so excited about it :) I won the spotlight entry for their challenge #100 and was invited over to Guest Design.

The challenge this fortnight is  ‘Shaped Card’.

Here is my take on it ...an easel card !!!

The digital image is from Saturated Canary, colored with markers.

I have embellished the card with patterned papers and handmade flowers.

Gone Tropical!

Hello friends! Sharing two quick and easy cards that I made today :)

I created the background by inking  and heat embossing Hero Art 'Tropical' stamp with black embossing powder. And then applying distress inks on various areas.

Finally the sentiment is stamped on vellum and embellished  with few rhinestones.

The butterflies are also heat embossed and inked with same colors.

White on White!

Hello Friends!!! Today I have a white on white card to share with you :)

I made my background by using silhouette cameo 'bubbles of love' file and layered it with vellum.

The card is then embellished with handmade vellum flowers, tulle bow, doily punch and pearls.

Spring Green!

Sharing today an ATC BOOK BOX by Graphic 45 that I have decorated using the variety of papers from this line.

It is a memory/treasure box that I will use t store all my spring memories for this year :)

I have embellished it with green flowers, ribbons and decorated with patterned papers that are full of spring elements like butterflies, green plants and spring colors.

Timeless memories!

Sharing today another special project I made as an inspiration for Beyond Grey Challenges- mixed media.

This is a 6x7 inch mini album I made for a friend. The cover is made using different mediums such as embossing paste, mists, glass glitter. The beautiful papers are from Prima's 'Time Traveller Collection'.

I used stencils to apply embossing paste on the background and then misted it with dylusion's ink sprays. I have also done stamping and added prima glass glitter on it.

You can see all the sparkle and shine here.

Finally I embellish it with flowers, stamens, metal chain and few die cuts.

Mixed Media Layout !

Sharing today my first 12 x 12 mixed media layout!!!

First I created the  background by using gesso, inks, mists and  adding modeling paste through stencils. I, then, layered some handmade flowers on the left of the photo (the photo is a free vintage image)

I have also used pearl strings, twine and lace to embellish it :)

To add extra shine and glitter, I added Prima Glass Glitter on some areas.

Really enjoyed making mixed media layout.
