Happy, Happy Birthday!!

Hi friends!

Another birthday card to share with you .

 
 
 
 
I wanted to keep the sentiment as the focal point of my card so have stamped and embossed it with black embossing powder. The frame  is a cameo cut file  and the  beautiful background paper is from DCWV. The background paper being already embossed, I didn't feel like adding anything to my card and just tied a yellow ribbon behind the sentiment for color.
 
One thing I came across was that I brushed a little bit of  corn flour/cornstarch on the paper and then wiped  it off  before embossing the sentiment. This really helped in a much cleaner embossing. Thought I share this with you :)

    That is a very nice way to make the sentiment the focal point! I like the embossed message, the lacy frame around the sentiment panel and the pop of color with your ribbon. Thank you Zubaida, for sharing your project in the “Add Some Embossing” Challenge at Craft Your Passion.

    Having that beautiful sentiment be the focus of the card is perfect and you did everything to keep it that way...the splash of color behind it draws your eye to the sentiment and the lovely pattern paper just brings it all in together. Thank you for sharing it on Seize the Birthday!
